What Is Ceremonial Cacao?
Cacao, known as the “food of the gods,” has been cherished for thousands of years by Maya, Aztec, and Amazonian cultures. Traditionally used in rituals and communal gatherings, it is known for inspiring deeper connection, warmth, and emotional uplift. Indigenous Amazonian traditions have long honoured cacao for its association with creative flow, deeper presence, and joy.
Where Our Cacao Comes From
Our organic cacao is grown deep in the Peruvian Amazon by a community of the Asháninka people, who have cultivated this heirloom strain over many generations of careful stewardship.
Their relationship with the plant is rooted in tradition, reverence, prayer, and song, honouring cacao as a sacred and life-giving food and teacher. This forest-grown cacao carries their knowledge, care, and cultural lineage in every batch.
How Cacao Is Known For Nourishing The Body and Mind
